|The Revd Charles Miller, MA, MDiv, DPhil (Oxon), was appointed Team Rector of Abingdon with pastoral responsibility for St Helen’s Church in 2006. Prior to that Charles had been Rector of the Church of the Transfiguration in Manhattan, USA, and had served in pastoral and theological teaching roles in both the Church of England and the Episcopal Church. A native of the State of Connecticut, Charles is a life-long Anglican. His ministry has been almost evenly divided between Britain and the United States. His interests include Christianity and art, the Orthodox Christian tradition, and the Anglican spiritual tradition. He has published three books, and numerous scholarly and popular articles and essays.||
|The Revd Jane Baun, MA, PhD (Princeton), is Associate Priest in the Parish of Abingdon-on-Thames, and Lecturer in Church History at Ripon College, Cuddesdon. She is a Byzantinist with expertise in the rich spiritual-cultural tradition of Eastern Christianity, and complements that with a keen interest in the spirituality developed by St Ignatius Loyola and his Society (the Jesuits), and the use of the imagination in prayerful encounter with God.||
The Revd Mary Williamson was appointed House for Duty Associate Priest in the Parish of Abingdon-on-Thames in 2016. Coming from Launceston in the Diocese of Truro, she trained for ordination on the South West Ministry Training Course after retiring from teaching. Having been born and brought up in Reading, she moved to Cornwall in 1989 on being appointed to her first headship. She is passionate about the Church’s ministry to people living with dementia and, before coming to Abingdon, was on a Diocesan Action Group, a Regional ecumenical group arranging a conference for ministers and was a volunteer with the Launceston Memory Café.
|Christopher Fletcher-Campbell, MA (Oxon), ARCO, LRAM, ARCM, was appointed Director of Music and Organist of St Helen’s in 2007. A life-long teacher, Christopher was Director of Music and Organist of Bloxham School until taking up his post here. He continues his teaching role at Abingdon School. Christopher is a percussionist and violinist too, and is Director of the Oxford Studio Orchestra. He continues to act as Leader/supervisor/assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Army Cadets.||
